The Parkinson Council is pleased to announce the awarding of $388,000 in grants for 2009.
The following organizations were grant recipients:
1. Pennsylvania Hospital, Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center,$203,400
2. Thomas Jefferson University, The Farber Insititute $65,500
3. Jefferson Hospital for Neurosciences, Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program, $44,400
4. University of Pennsylvania, Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research, $25,000
5. National Parkinson Foundation, $25,000
6. Pennsylvania Hospital, Dan Aaron Parkinson's Rehabilitation Center, $19,700
7. MAPS Foundation of South Jersey, $5,000
