A Meaningful Gift – A Donation to The Parkinson Council
Making a donation to The Parkinson Council enables you to directly contribute to the accomplishment of the Council’s goals of supporting research initiatives for the causes and cure of Parkinson’s disease as well as educating patients, their caregivers, healthcare professionals and the general public about Parkinson’s. There are many ways to make a donation:
Direct Donation – Your contribution will directly impact ongoing research into the cause and a cure for Parkinson’s, ease the life of the Parkinson patient and their caregiver and support the work of the Council. In Recognition – Honor a special day, celebrate a milestone or acknowledge the contribution of another – The Parkinson Council will send a personalized letter noting a contribution was made in recognition of the individual and we will send a receipt for your tax records. In Memory Of – Make a donation in memory of a loved one, colleague or friend. The Parkinson Council will send a personalized note as directed as well as provide a tax receipt for your records. Bequest in Will – Providing a bequest in your will is a simple process. Bequests can be included in a will when it is originally written or added later by means of a codicil (an amendment to a will). Please note specifically The Parkinson Council, Inc. as the beneficiary of the bequest to avoid any confusion and to ensure that your bequest is properly made.
