The Sixth Annual Parkinson’s Golf Classic a Success
The Sixth Annual Parkinson’s Golf Classic raised a record amount of money this past year thus enabling The Parkinson Council to recently donate $190,000.00 to the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, a Center of Excellence designated by the National Parkinson Foundation.
The grant will underwrite revolutionary research into identifying at-risk individuals as well as other experimental therapeutic programs, support groups, medical staff training and educational forums.
